Hi Everyone,

My name is Arantza González and I am honored to serve you as your GCSU Vice-President Academic 2026-2027. I’m an international student from Mexico. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Arts major in psychology and minor in French.

Over the past couple years, I have been involved in the Grenfell community by volunteering with the international office, being part of the international caucus, involving with the mental health society, actively engaging in events and activities of the different caucuses and societies GCSU has where I have been presented with the opportunity to connect with so many students and
this is where my passion for advocacy started.

As your VP academic I provide support and assistance with any academic concerns and appeals. As well as I oversee the six GCSU caucuses which are International Caucus, Black
Caucus, Disability Caucus, Queer caucus, Women caucus, Indigenous caucus.
