Hi everyone,

My name is Derek Koranteng and I am GCSU Vice President External for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. I am third year Business Administration major. It is with great passion and a sense of purpose that I extend my warmest greetings to each one of you.

I am excited for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for entrusting me with this important role. Serving as your voice to the broader community is a responsibility that I am committed to. I will represent your interests with integrity, diligence, and passion. My primary aim is to foster strong connections between the GCSU and greater community beyond our borders by advocating for student needs to provide opportunities for us all. Together, we have the power to effect positive change and make a lasting impact on our campus and beyond. Through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence, I am confident that we can achieve great things in the year ahead. I encourage you to participate in GCSU initiatives and activities to help better shape our community’s future.
