The purpose of the Grenfell Campus Student Union (GCSU) is to unify and represent all of its members, and to protect and promote their welfare and interests. The Union undertakes campaigns and provides services to enhance the educational, cultural, environmental, political, and social conditions of its members. GCSU was established almost thirty years ago and has worked hard to represent the concerns of students ever since. The Council is the representative body of the Union. It is composed of four Executive Directors (President, Vice-President Academic, Vice-President External and Vice-President Executive) and seven Councilors-at-Large, which include representatives from the faculties of Nursing, Social Science, Arts, Fine Arts, and Science as well representatives for entertainment and the environment. The Executive members and councilors are elected by students in general elections.
