You have access to academic advice throughout your time at Grenfell Campus. Your advisor will help with your transition to university. They will help you understand university regulations, connect you to the many resources that are available on campus, and work with you to set academic goals and to make decisions. First year students are assigned an advisor before they arrive on campus in the fall semester and have a group advising meeting on the day before classes begin. The details of this meeting will be sent to students via their Memorial email address. Students beyond first year will be assigned an advisor in their declared program while undeclared students beyond first year will obtain advice from the staff advisors in the Registrar’s Office.

Appointments to see staff academic advisers in the Registrar’s Office can be made online through “My Grenfell.” Students may also drop in to see advisors (AS 277) or use email at gcsuinfo@grenfell.mun.ca. This service is open to all students.
